I don't know, I guess it makes sense that they exist.. they didn't just invent Spanish music yesterday. But I never heard the two words together before, and it sounded kinda funny: Spanish Oldies. Go ahead, say it out loud. "Spanish Oldies"
Actually, I guess any thing with the word "oldies" after it sounds funny.
So, if you live in San Jose and like romantic music, and if you used to listen to it on 100.3 FM (KBRG Radio Romantica), I've got bad news. 100.3 is now Spanish oldies Recuerdo.
Here's the good news. If your radio can pick up 104.9 out of San Francisco (KCNL), they are now going to call themselves "La Romantica" and play the crap you used to listen to on 100.3. Sorry modern rock fans, you're going to have to go somewhere else. 104.9 doesn't play that anymore, as I'm sure you'll find out on your own. Don't worry, I'm sure there is plenty of rock in the city that is home to The Rock.
