DJ Police Blotter

As reported by Martin Miller and Geoff Boucher in Saturday's LA Times:
LA radio host Chris Douridas of National Public Radio's Southern California flagship station, 89.9 FM KCRW in Santa Monica, was arrested last week on suspicion of drugging and trying to kidnap a 14-year-old girl. He was later released after posting a $1 Million bond.

Douridas is known for introducing great new artists on his radio show before other DJs played them, as well as for his success in creating the soundtracks for popular movies, including Grosse Pointe Blank, which I own and recommend you buy (but only if it turns out that he is innocent.)
