After 42 years on TV with ABC News, Ted Koppel has struck a deal to become a commentator on National Public Radio (NPR). In addition to providing analysis and commentary for "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered", Koppel will also serve as an NPR analyst for breaking news reports and coverage of special events. I'm looking forward to hearing him, as Morning Edition has sucked since Bob Edwards left for XM, primarily because of the hourly intro he used to do... The new hosts can't handle the script, no matter who has tried. I hope Ted takes over that important piece of the show.
