When I received a bunch of emails yesterday asking thinks like "What happened to Jim Dai and the entire "good" radio personalities at KWJZ 98.9 Seattle??", I knew something was up.
Jim Dai, who we told you three years ago moved from AM to the FM dial after being fired from 880 AM (KIXI), seems to have been cut loose from another Seattle station this month.
Radio-Info reports simply that Jim Dai is out of mornings, replaced by the station's program director Carol Handley.

Thoroughly enjoyed Jim on AM and was happy to find him on KWJZ. So sorry to find out he is gone. Hope I find him again on another station soon.
I was really sad to hear that KWJZ dismissed Jim Dai and Jay Phillips. I really miss hearing them.
Jim Dai is missed in the mornings. No more smooth jazz for me.
I, too, really miss Jim Dai. Also Jay Phillips and Paul Carlson. I still listen to KWJZ, but am no longer a "loyal" listener.
Anyone know where Jim went as of 4-20-'01? I sure miss him also. Been a loyal listener to where EVER he is for over 20 years!
I've been looking for Jim since he's left KWJZ; I finally found him. He's now on KIXI HD2 streaming on-line (it also says 106.9, which may mean this is HD2 for KWRM...not sure). Anyhow, you can find Jim's show from 12 noon to 3pm at http://radiotime.com/station/s_67581/KIXI_1069.aspx
That's great Jim, um, I mean Anonymous. Thanks for checking in :-D
I really enjoyed the morning show on KWJZ with Jim. Why in the world they still have Carol around is beyond me. She is the one who needs to be dumped!!
